More quick pix from my phone about May
Basketball on Sunday night at Grandma & Papa Gibs house! See Brandon on the ground behind the basket? It was a rough game!I took Brandon shopping with his birthday money. He first bought the Batman Wii game and as we were leaving the store told me he really wanted the Transformers game, too. You should have seen his face when I told him he still had enough money to buy that game as well! Pure joy! We walked back to the electronics and made that second purchase!
Then, we went shopping for new Sunday clothes to wear for his baptism. He chose this shirt and tie. Then, we found a coordinating tie for Daddy so they could match!
Amanda somehow worked us so that she could stay in soccer and dance. Little does she know that we are going to be sticklers on the 'contract' we wrote up with her once we agreed to another year of two sports.....Soccer tryouts were the same week as dance tryouts, but somehow we made it work.
Amanda and Gabby and Micaela after the water fight at the end of day one tryouts. Amanda is always in the middle of the fun and she is the 'gel that holds this team together' one mom told me. It is a uniquely accepting group of girls from all different circumstances. It is really fun to see how tight a group they are.
Amanda's friend, Sue was cut unfortunately from her previous team of like 5 years....and decided to come to Wasatch tryouts. It will be fun to have her around! She isn't on Amanda's team, but we will see them often.
Amanda is doing soccer with dance hair again because she was at dance tryouts prior to this soccer tryout. She wears me out!
Sydney's 5th grade autobiography day! She is so cute! She wrote an amazing autobiography! Her teacher commented during the 'walking of the red carpet' that this 'star's personality' comes through in her writing! Sydney was also voted most fashionable of her 5th grade class! The slideshow says : Sydney: ballerina, lover of One Direction, Go Utes!
And below cute friends Emma and Reagan. She had a great year and Mrs Duke is a great teacher!
Hanging on until summer! Stay tuned!
