 Dance party and fire night....
Last day skiing against big red rocks!
Yes! We have matching shirts! We spent the last night in the marina and went to dinner at the restaurant there in our matching shirts!

 Awww, they love each other!
On the last night, the kids get glow sticks and then go out to roam the marina....

LP 2K15

The Wilgenseth Lake Powell trip 2015, did not start out awesome!
Departure time was 7:00am sharp! The Jergs and Wilsons were meeting at our house and then we'd start our caravan south.  Brandon was tired....Mike was having breakfast....
And then we got a call that the Jergs car had a warning light on saying if you drive further you will hurt your car! So, luckily we had barely left.  We all turned around and went the Jergs house and tried to pile their stuff into their smaller car and some of our trucks, boats, etc.  As Brad was turning around on their street, he bumped the curb with his boat trailer tire and it blew!  So, now we were changing a trailer tire and trying to keep the kids under control so they didn't annoy the Dads....

Then, the oldest decided they need to ride together, so we switched up everyone in the cars and were on our way! We did have a small problem with our trailer, but Mike figured we were ok and we kept on!

There are SO many pictures and video of this trip.  But, I made a video and put it on CD, so I'll probably not share a lot here.  We had a great time!  There is always no drama with this group and everyone gets along amazingly!   Brad has a new timeshare on a brand new houseboat! We were the 3rd group on it. It is beautiful! The weather was perfect!  We went to Rainbow Bridge and Dangling Rope....those were different than before.  We bought a paddle board for the trip and it was a huge hit! Brad bought a Air Launch pillow and that was a huge hit, too!  When we got home, we figured out that we had a major tire issue with our boat trailer, but were extremely blessed in that nothing happened on the road.  Counting down until our next trip!!

Ute Football Camp

This past June we put Brandon in a football camp at the U!  We first got the idea from a teammate that wanted him to go to the one at the Y.  Mike said, um, I'm sure the U has one and it's closer and it's not BYU.  ha ha! So, we looked into and sure enough, the Utes have a camp!
He got to meet Kyle Whittingham.  He was coached by the actual Utah football PAC-12 coaches and players!  It was nice that he had 'line' coaches, not just quarterback etc trying to tell him how to play the line.
He played against some BIG boys!  Sons of the line players and coaches....big Poly kids.  They were all the same age...but B held his own! It was a good test for him since he doesn't have a lot of competition in Kaysville yet.

It was HOT! Second week of June.  HOT! Like upper 90's and on the fields were they were playing it was 100 degrees for sure.

We signed him up for 2 sessions. They play 3 days, take the rest of the week off, and then play 3 more days.  He wasn't wanting to go back 2nd session because it was so hard the first session, but he went and kicked butt!

We took turns going up to the U to have lunch with him. Since he didn't go with any buddies, he was alone for lunch and that wasn't fun. He did meet a couple of boys, but I think he liked it when we came up.

Sydney came with me one day and took all these pictures.

Pretty creative! I love them all!

He'll do camp again this year.  He might go with a buddy from his football team this year and we are thinking just one session...but it was awesome!!
