Random and Temple Open House

Amanda got together with soccer friends, Savannah and Sierra and went to the RSL game. She really misses these girls! They are so sweet to keep in touch with her. They also have come to one of her dance performances!
While working on their summer bucket list, Brooks (I think it's Brooks) came to help blow up balloons. He knows where the cute girls are!!  I took this picture and sent it to his mom!
Our last boating trip!  Took Chezney and Katie Walters.  So sad that our boating trips are so limited now!  When football starts the last week in July, it really shuts it down!
Brandon finally  used some of his money and bought a Kendama....
 He was so excited!

Um, ya...Max is spoiled. Sorry Grandma that you made this pillow for Sydney and now Max uses it!
We toured the new Ogden Temple. It's so beautiful!! Probably one of my favorite celestial rooms!
It was fun to be there with our own eternal family and teach the kids what each area was used for...
Then, we went across the street to Farr's and had ice cream.....see Brandon's face? He really liked his :) That or he likes to make us laugh!

St George and Labor Day

Part of Amanda and Chezney's summer bucket list was to go to St. George, so we went over Labor Day!
The girls and I headed down on Friday and Mike stayed with Brandon until after his football game Saturday. Then, they drove down in time to join us at Tuacahn for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Such a gorgeous venue and the show was great! They did a lot of little extras to make it fun since this show gets done a lot.  Brandon hadn't even seen it, so that's why we picked it. That and it was good timing.  Everyone really liked it!

While waiting for the boys, the girls and I hiked, had lunch and went to Fiesta Fun. Finally the girls realized that FF is not fun!  ;)  On Sunday, Mike took the kids for a long bike ride. I stayed home so that Chez could go and Max and I took a walk instead.
Then we went to the temple! It's so beautiful and amazingly white for being in such a red desert.

Then, we got shakes! That night, we had the Jarmans over for dinner and games.

Thanks for the selfies on my phone my cute family!
