Inspiration Point

The first hike wasn't bad, so we decided to keep going to Inspiration Point!

 We think the kids look like they are standing in front of a green screen....but it's the real deal!

 This hike was a lot harder.  Sydney struggled a bit, but still hiked the whole thing in flip flops!

 She's pretty tough!  She and I hiked down a bit slower and ended up missing the boat that the whole family was on.  Then we missed the next one too because of how many people were in line ahead of us.  By the time we got back on the 3rd boat, she was quite upset.  One of the boy cousins said something in teasing and that was enough...here came the tears.

She's super tough, but wasn't feeling well.  We got our family together and went to the general store and bought some drinks and treats.  We sat outside the store and got her sugar back up and enjoyed more of the beautiful scenery!  I loved sitting there all together...just having accomplished something hard and enjoying one another's company.  Mike & I reminded all of our kids how proud we are of them and how much we love being together!
