Last of Powell for 2012

After the flag fashion show, we found some great cliff jumping.  Everyone jumped!

 There was a smaller cliff and a higher cliff.  Sydney didn't hesitate one second before jumping off the big one!

We ate lunch at Antelope Point again and then spent the rest of the day wakeboarding, knee boarding and tubing.  The next day, we got out on the lake early and let Sydney wakeboard again. She did AWESOME and none of us had cameras to take a picture!  We pulled the boat out and headed home!

 And what better way to show it than for Mike to wear flag shorts found at the Page WalMart?

 We went to the dam and took some dam pictures with our dam family.

Suitable for framing, don't you think?  We were waiting for our friends and to see what Reed might be wearing.....

Sydney learns to wakeboard!

Sydney decided it was time to learn to wakeboard! She did really well at getting out of the water and then would get scared and let go of the rope!

 We did a lot of practicing.  The last day, when none of us had cameras or phones with us with which to take pictures, she finally felt comfortable enough to hang on and took the longest ride ever!  We were so proud of her and so glad that she accomplished this goal while we were at Lake Powell!

Good job Syd Syd!

Lake Powell - part deux

We left our boat in a slip at night.  It was so great! The first night we left it there was this amazing sunset! I couldn't get enough of it!

 Next day, Amanda got some wakeboarding in.....We want to find a fab picture of her wakeboarding and make it into a poster for her room....

Lake Powell - Take 2

The week after recital week, we headed back to Lake Powell with our friends, the Laws.

 First stop, Antelope Point!

 The kids loved the swim deck and jumped off 1, 2, 3, 4....
