Sydney's Ride

We didn't get out on the boat again until late July. So sad!

We travelled up to Echo Res...our fave place to go.
This year they are working on the dam so they are letting the water out......and it's really going fast!

We couldn't even use the ramp.  We drove down on the 'beach' until we reached a ramp that must have been at least 50 years under the water....
But the bonus to this?  No one on the lake!  Sydney wake boarded the whole time! Manda was injured from soccer and dance....back....so she just rode.
But Syd was more than happy to ride the entire night! She did so great!
We ran up to Echo a week ago and it's pretty much empty.  We are glad that Sydney got a chance to enjoy being the only skier on the lake. Doesn't happen very often :)

Brandon soccer

All the boys in the neighborhood that are B's age decided to play comp soccer this year.  I thought it might be a step down from Amanda's since they call is Academy soccer and not full on Wasatch Comp, but they pretty much have the same schedule....practice, training and games.
It is fun to have this team full of boys from the hood though.  Soon after the team was formed, they played in the La Rocca cup tourney during July.
 It was HOT!!!!!
But the boys played their hearts out and did fairly well for a new team.  Since then, they have played a lot of scrimmages.  Their season schedule doesn't start until next week, but Brandon is now out for fall since he broke his leg. More on that when I catch up!

Out with the swingset...in with the tramp!

We sold our Rainbow play set that we bought when Amanda was 3 for $900!  I spent 3 weeks staining it and getting that much for it made it worth it!
We told the kids if they sold the swingset, which wasn't getting much use anyway, then they could buy a tramp.

Amanda was at girls camp and when she came home was really surprised!
