The day after Christmas....

And all through the house....
Brandon was playing his new Wii games
And Sydney was pondering while Daddy put together her new keyboard!
Then, it was on to Legos! Daddy was putting those together and Brandon and Sydney were playing..

Legos are a great toy! These two spend hours playing together, inventing 'ships' and stories.
Later that day, Mike & I went searching for a new TV. Our family tv was seriously broken.  We had a little lunch at Chick-fi-la and ended up with a rockin' new tv for the family room and a new console for our tv in our bedroom.
Mike & I also went to dinner with my siblings as our gifts to each other this year. We met at Red Rock at Fashion Place Mall.  The mall was so crowded! We had to park further away than I ever have at that mall!  We had a great time with these awesome people and enjoyed our time together! I love this new tradition and hope everyone else does, too.  We missed Dan & Stacie as her grandmother passed away that morning.
We loved having Mike home all day!  It was fun to take some time as a family and just be.  We are always running in a million different directions with different activities or stresses....I just couldn't get enough of our 'down time' this year!

Arveseth Christmas

We were a small group this year, but it was still tons of fun! Grandma and Papa wanted this hat passed around to whomever was opening their present.  It worked great!

Darling Aero jacket that Amanda loves!
 Lots of giggles
Zac likes his new Utah bracelet

 Love this Emily face....
Brandon got some chapter books from Eliza and sat and read all 5 of them that very moment!

Mikey and his bunny slippers.  He was a BIG hit with the 6 year old and under crowd! The girls kept taking them off his feet and then Brandon would go hunt them down and bring them back......

Brock, Jace & Corvin came along for the fun!

Silly girls.....we had to have a sleepover later that week....and then we met Kellie, Zac and Emily at Crown Burger for lunch! Good times!
 B is reading.....
 and reading....
Three peas in a pod! Emily loves the Doodle book Brandon gave her!

 and reading!

We stayed late...until about 10:30pm and chatted.  It was fun to visit and a great end to Christmas!

Gibson's Christmas

About 3:00pm, we headed to my parent's house. I have to say, I loved spending most of the day at home and then heading out in the late afternoon to visit.  It was a nice, relaxing Christmas!
Sydney and me getting our diet coke on!
Here is Peyton! She is so cute and would cuddle with anyone who would hold her.
 My beautiful Mom!

There's a smile behind that binky from Cayden!
Aunt Kat getting some cuddle time with two cute babies!

Grandma was helping Cayden to walk....
Nice face, Evan!   You are going to take Roger's claim on Stupid Face away from him if you keep it up.....
The girls couldn't get enough of Easton!  Jamie was loving having these 3 little helpers!
Jamie & Cozette! Happy Birthday, Coze!

Here's the picture I got of Rog Dog. Nice.....

My awesome parents! Love you, two!

Christmas Day!

Thanks to Mikey who downloaded the pictures off my new camera! I can see a difference...can you?
After we got home from church (which was really fun actually), we had some lunch and settled down to play with our new stuff!
Mikey was testing out my camera here.....

 Now it's my turn....

 Love this picture :)
I don't know how I made these random pictures so big, but I love them!

Now Amanda is taking a turn....

Me modeling my new apron from the kids....it's a kid history apron about the Mom who feeds her kids healthy food....'Here's your perfectly normal pancakes kids!'
Here is B playing his new Wii game...
Sydney got my phone as a hand-me-down and went right to work texting..

I like this angle on the tree, Amanda!
