Brandon fan, Amanda!! She takes great pictures at his games!
Football has begun!! Tryouts were the last week of July. Brandon was unofficially frozen to his same team from last year. But, the other 2 teams were talking to us and telling us he only had to be back on Jeff's team if we wanted him to be. In the end, that's where he wanted to be and we are happy about it.
The top picture is from the Clearfield game where they played on the high school field. The second picture is a home game at Barnes Park. We are undefeated still!! Our hardest game was last week against Layton and we still won decidedly.
Mike loves being in charge of the chains. He said he can always see Brandon and that he can hear what's going on out there on the field. That's his permanent job now at home games!
After their first game, the coaches picked Captains. Brandon was in the first group! They awarded captain to 4 kids per game. Eventually every boy gets one. I helped them get the shirts this year as I am team mom. Not a big job....I'd take this over soccer team mom any day of the week!
Anyway, we are super proud of Brandon being the first captain!!! Way to go B!
We have a big game this Saturday and then it should be on to the playoffs and the mini bowl!!
After that game, we went to the Utes Fan day. Brandon got a football poster and met a ton of football players. He got signatures from a bunch of them.
Brandon and Mike played pass in the end zone. It was really fun to watch. I have video, but again can't load it to blogger.
